Incubator glass door with excess condensation on it? Open your incubator glass interior door and gently wipe the condensation from the glass surface. Check the door seal for cracks or gaps. If the gasket looks good, place the palm of your on the inside of the outer incubator door. Is it warm to the touch? If not the door heater may be defective. Do you have a benchtop centrifuge with a mechanical timer that isn’t giving you the full set time?1/7/2021 Simply turn the timer knob all the way to the right then bring it back to you set time. This should make the timer more effective. Note most mechanical timers generally have an accuracy rate of +/- 2 minutes. Hope that helps. Don't forget to double check the bottom thickness of your centrifuge adapters to make sure the thicknesses match. The "conical" bottom in thicker and adds ~50 grams in weight. The "round" bottom adapters are much thinner and when these are mismatched can cause a severe centrifuge rotor imbalance. P.S. people have swapped the adapter bottoms before on accident and didn't note the thickness difference regardless of the adapter color. This actually did cause a centrifuge imbalance. |
