To enable our Field Service Group to provide the services our
customers have come to expect, a lot of preparation is made before
you place the service call. Our engineers undergo a documented training
regimen of everything from cGMP to Laboratory Safety and Defensive
Driving. Next, each product line covered by our service group is
covered in meticulous detail starting from basic operation of the
instrument to the details of our calibration procedures. Standards
and tools are assigned only after the engineer has been approved
for service by one of the senior technicians.

The ability to communicate with their customers during the service
event is a key ingredient of any service's group's success. When
you call our office there's no confusing phone menu or excessive
hold time. You get a live body, ready to serve you. BTS service
call processes also harness the latest technologies in service call
management software and telecommunications to log, dispatch, and
track your service call. Once a new call for service has been received
via our website or at our service center hotline, it is entered
into the Eclipse® Service Management System. The call is immediately
e-mailed to the appropriate engineer on their Treo® Mobile Communicator
along with a tentative date and time for the call. Once the engineer
confirms the scheduled time/date for the service call, you are e-mailed
a confirmation of your call and your scheduled time. No more return
calls to see when the engineer will be there.

Just as importantly, after your service call, you want to know
that the service doesn't stop there. BTS offers calibrations, preventative
maintenance programs, and full coverage agreements for most all
common laboratory equipment. Through our nationwide network of independent
service providers, you have the assurance that we're there when
you need us. Each service call labor is also warranted for 90 days,
giving you the added assurance that we stand behind our work.
