BioTechnical Services Inc.
Biotechnical Services Inc. (BTS) was incorporated in California in 1991. BTS focuses on serving the equipment of the biomedical and pharmaceutical industries. The founder, Philip Parker, a long-time senior manufacturing engineer was given the unique opportunity in 1989 to form his own service company in the rapidly expanding research industry.

In 1991, when the company was incorporated, it was able to cover all of the Southern California area. Within months, a dynamic service team was formed with expansion of coverage to Arizona and Southern Nevada.

During the past several years, BTS has networked with original equipment manufacturers (OEM)and other independent service providers to create a successful sales, service, and customer support team.

BTS has joined forces with VWR to calibrate, repair, install, and maintain all VWR distributed equipment, as well as, many other types of equipment found in today's laboratories.

In 2004, BTS formed the organization known as B.I.G. (Biotechnical Integrated Group) in an effort to provide a one-stop-shop for life science services. B.I.G. partners around the country can now provide service on lab equipment ranging from pipettes to mass spectrophotometers and have additional support capabilities for relocation, facilities, and asset management to name a few.
