Shipping and Returns
All Orders are processed for shipping Monday through Friday 9:00 - 5:00 PM Mountain Standard Time. We make every effort to process and ship orders within 24 hours. Some orders may take longer if awaiting shipment on a particular item so please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Although we make every effort to anticipate the needs of our customers by maintaining additional inventory on the most popular items, the number of items we offer prevents us from stocking quantities sufficient to foresee every order. If an out of stock item is not already scheduled for delivery in our next shipment it can take 5 to 10 business days to restock. The normal delivery time to your door in this case is typically 2-3 weeks. Your credit card will not be charged until your order is ready to be shipped.
You will NOT receive an email if your item(s) are out of stock unless your order is going to take longer than the time frame listed above. If your order doesn't arrive within 10 business days, and you'd like to check the status of your order, you can use the link in your order confirmation to check its status or you can email us and we will be happy to check its status for you. If it's important that your order arrive by a specific date, we encourage you to send us an email BEFORE you place your order so we can let you know in advance if the items are in stock, or how long it will be before our next shipment is expected to arrive.
Back Orders – Once in a while an item will be out of stock in our warehouse and the manufactures as well. Fortunately, this does not happen often as it can take several weeks before the item is delivered to us when this happens. If we learn from a supplier that an item may be unavailable for more than 2 weeks, we will notify you by email of the delay and let you decide if you want to wait, make another selection, or cancel your order for the items on backorder. If an item is on backorder, we will ship the items in stock at the standard shipping rate included on your order and then ship the backordered item(s) at
our expense. Back ordered items are generally restocked within 10 to 15 business days. Once we have a delivery date from the manufacturer we will let you know by email. Any items on back order will be shipped out as soon as we receive them. Your credit card will not be charged until your item is in stock and your order is processed. We appreciate your patience & understanding.
After processing and packaging, orders in the US are shipped by USPS Priority which typically takes 2 to 7 business days to deliver. Again, please allow a total of 2 to 3 weeks for processing, packaging and delivery for orders in the US.
For customers outside the US please allow 3 to 8 weeks for processing, packaging and delivery. Once your order has been shipped, delivery can take up to 6 weeks or more in some cases.
Products are shipped F.O.B. San Diego, California.
Orders by mail must include the item numbers, item names, quantities, a Cashier’s Check or Money Order for the total order including applicable taxes and shipping fees and the address where you would like your order delivered. You can use this link to email us your order. We do not accept personal checks for mail orders.
If you ordered the wrong item, please let us know as soon as possible. We may be able to replace it with the correct item. However, we do not guarantee full credit if you have ordered the wrong item. We do not accept any items that have been used. If you have ordered the wrong item it is your responsibility to pay for the cost of shipping the item back to us.
If Biotechnical Services, Inc. has suggested or recommended the wrong item it is our policy to correct the error and to make a best effort attempt to get you the correct item. However, if there is a price difference the customer is liable for the difference. If the correct replacement item is not available the customer will receive a full refund once the item is returned. If Biotechnical Services, Inc. has recommended the wrong item, we will pay the shipping cost to return the item to us. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to properly pack the item before returning it to Biotechnical Services, Inc.. After we receive and inspect the item, you will receive a credit or a replacement. Biotechnical Services, Inc. will pay for the return shipping of the new item to you.
Please email us before returning any products to obtain a return authorization number and instructions for returning the goods. No return will be accepted without prior authorization. All returned merchandise must be in the original packaging for refund or credit. Please keep all packaging materials and shipping documents to insure proper credit.
Inspect your order: It is the customer’s sole responsibility to inspect their order upon receipt. If you receive a broken or damaged item or if you receive the wrong item, you must contact us with 5 business days.
To return damaged or defective items, please email us immediately to obtain a return authorization number and instructions for returning the goods.
